A tri-component colored epoxy product for the construction of self-levelling industrial floors up to 3 mm thick (including base coatings). Applicable in one coat on surface prepared with MALTA BASE ( or FONDO SL) loaded with 0.1-0.3 mm NATURAL QUARTZ sand.
Description
STRATOFLEX 3K is a self-leveling tri-component product of epoxy nature consisting of: - Component A: mixture of liquid epoxy prepolymers, pigments, additives and special fillers. • component B: copolymerization amine. - Component C: quartz sand with controlled grain size. STRATOFLEX 3K is specifically designed for flooring. Once fully cured, it shows remarkable hardness and flexibility and resistance to mechanical and thermal stress.
Field of application
- STRATOFLEX 3K is used as:
- - Self-levelling coating in the construction of flooring with a thickness between 2 and 3 mm, on surfaces intended for trolley traffic (medium load) and subject to frequent washing, where a non-slip coating is not required (food warehouses of all kinds, light mechanical industries, paper industries, printing houses, etc.).
- NOTE: To achieve special chemical resistance, it can be finished with NORPHEN 200 HCR (see Data Sheet) or NORPHEN ESTER VE (see Data Sheet).
- Laying media on which STRATOFLEX 3K can be applied:
- - New concrete.
- - Old concrete.
- - Sand and cement or ready-mixed and self-levelling cement-based screeds.
- - Screeds on radiant floors.
- - Wooden panels exclusively chipboard (such as OSB, classic chipboard, MDF, wood-cement, ...).
- - Natural stone flooring*.
- - Tile floors of all types*.
- - Resin coatings*.
- * Provided that the adhesion, cohesion, and compressive strength of the existing coating are checked in advance by an experienced person and evaluated according to the end use of the floor covering.
