Two-component, self-levelling, transparent, very fast-curing finish suitable for waterproof and dirt-resistant sealing of the EPOGREEN system. Certified as suitable for use in food processing environments due to its ability to block mold growth even in the presence of high humidity.
Description
EPOGREEN COAT is a transparent, solvent-free and odourless two-component hybrid polyurethane resin for the realization of the EPOGREEN cycle finish. The product consists of: •Comp. A: Amine resin, additives and special fillers; • comp. B: prepolyisocyanate; The EPOGREEN cycle is a floor covering system with the following characteristics: • odourless both during installation and maturation; •Wear; • non-slip (class R10 according to DIN 51130 and B according to DIN 51097); • fast curing: the coating can be walked on approximately 2 hours after application at a temperature of +20°C and after approximately 4 hours (at +20°C) the flooring is perfectly cured and can be used. The "EPOGREEN system" is made up of a reinforcing base coat made from resin, coloured quartz sand and a transparent finish. EPOGREEN system is composed by the following coats: • EPOGREEN PRIMER: adhesion promoter for non-absorbent surfaces. • EPOGREEN BOND: base coat, three part solvent-free elastomeric polyurethane resin. • EPOGREEN COAT: transparent, solvent-free, odorless, non-yellowing, flexible and fast curing two part resin for final and total protection of the EPOGREEN system.
Field of application
- EPOGREEN COAT is the specific product for the realization of the finish of the EPOGREEN cycle.
- The "EPOGREEN system" has been specifically formulated for coatings in the food processing plants. Here are some examples:
- • lining of trucks dedicated to the transport of foodstuffs in controlled temperature;
- • kitchen floors in restaurants and canteens;
- • food processing areas in supermarkets;
- • cold storage in all types of activities;
- • industrial departments dedicated to food processing;
- • stables and milking parlors;
- • outdoor paving on ramps or sidewalks.
- • road markings in environments with temperatures between 0°C and +4°C.
- As a sealing and filling coat, EPOGREEN COAT is applied directly on the base coat made with EPOGREEN BOND + EPOGREEN BOND (C).
