Powdered additive to be added to the mix of a specifically formulated concrete, for the execution of waterproof castings, with a strong reduction or absence of partition joints. Ideal as a fluidizing and antisegregating admixture in the making of waterproof concrete mixes.

X-CEM BASE is used as an additive in the preparation of:
• cement grouts for injection into masonry to be restored;
• cement grouts for the anchoring injection of steel bars, cables, tie rods, etc.;
• grouts with zero or very low shrinkage in the restoration of reinforced concrete structures;
• concretes with a low water/cement ratio, superfluid, non-segregable and with zero or very low shrinkage, for structural elements in general;
• concretes for industrial flooring without or with a limited number of contraction joints;
• concretes with high mechanical resistance even when curing for short periods (24-48 hours);
• Waterproof concrete.
X-CEM BASE is compatible with the use of SRA (Shrinkage Reducing Agent) additives.
The performance of mixtures admixed with X-CEM BASE will also depend on the mix design of the mixtures themselves (particularly the type and dosage of cement, type of aggregate, and particle size curve), the casting method and site conditions, and proper design of the type of work to be performed.
