Description
SILICE is an inert from the pyrolysis of volatile siliceous compounds in blowtorch. It looks like a very volatile white ash compatible with different types of resinous formulations to which it is added as a thickener. SILICE is available in two different versions for the type of products with which it can be used: • SILICE EPOXIDE: recommended for the addition to epoxy compounds; • SILICE PU (polyurethane): compatible with isocyanates, because it is completely hydrophobic and moisture-free (silica silanize).
Field of application
- The product is used as a thickener for many liquid systems and is particularly useful for the application of self-leveling systems on vertical surfaces.
