SELF-ADHESIVE COPPER TAPE is composed of a copper foil and a conductive acrylic adhesive. SELF-ADHESIVE COPPER TAPE is applicable in strips or can be die-cut to specific shapes and sizes. Compared with mechanical fasteners, it allows faster assemblies and a solid splice line, without interruptions that could negatively interfere with shielding performance. SELF-ADHESIVE COPPER TAPE can be used to drain the static charge in case of earthing and for EMI shielding and can withstand oxidation and fading. SELF-ADHESIVE COPPER TAPE is suitable for NORPHEN ESC resin flooring cycle.
Field of application
- SELF-ADHESIVE COPPER TAPE is used for the realization of:
- • Resin coating for static-dissipative or conductive ESC flooring, with the aim of standardizing the conductivity of the flooring and achieving earthing and/or equipotential bonding.
- • Shielding of electromagnetic interference from doors and panels of enclosures and electronic equipment.
- • Shielding of electromagnetic interference from joints and openings in shielded rooms, cables and electronic connectors.
- • Shielding of electromagnetic interference between transformers, coils and relay windings.
- The typical shielding resistance for SELF-ADHESIVE COPPER TAPE between 50 dB and 60 dB (30 MHz to 1 GHz).
