is a ready-to-use one-component primer based on hybrid resins in water dispersion. Applied to surfaces such as gypsum board, expanded concrete and precast concrete slabs, very quickly forms an elastic, glossy, compact and water-resistant film that is highly adherent to the substrate, which can consolidate and regulate the water absorption of the surface while improving the adhesion of subsequent bonding or coating treatments.
use case
- RIVLATEX SU is used as an adhesion primer for:
- • Bonding of ceramic tiles with cementitious adhesives of the MONOTACK and BETON-H series on any gypsum or foam cement-based surface.
- • Over-application of cementitious coatings (such as skim coats, self-levelling agents, plasters) on gypsum or anhydrite surfaces or gypsum coatings on cement-based plaster.
- • Terracotta blocks before plastering with gypsum or cement.
