description

a two-component water-based epoxy enamel consisting of: • component A: mixture of liquid epoxy pre-polymers and additives; • Component B: co-polymerization amine, pigments, additives and water. The main feature of is the excellent adhesion to concrete supports wet and / or cast only from 12 – 24 hours (green concrete). After drying, gives rise to a film: • impermeable to water and oils; • permeable to water vapour; • with a matte final appearance with a very homogeneous texture; • Equipped with good general chemical resistance.

use case

  • Q-SMALTO is ideal for use as a coloured dustproof, anti-oil and anti-evaporant protector for quartz finished industrial floors, to be applied within the first 24 hours after casting.
  • Typical applications of Q-SMALTO are floor cladding in:

  • • food warehouses;
  • • deposits of all kinds;
  • • light processing industries, etc.
  • In addition to this, Q-SMALTO finds use in making protective coatings in general of concrete surfaces, particularly as a waterproofing agent for wastewater treatment tanks (culverts and whitewater drainage).
