is a bi-component epoxy product with very high white coverage used for the realization of the base coat in combination with finishes with poor coverage colors (see COLOR LIST at the end of the North Resins PRICE LIST). consists of: • component A: mixture of liquid epoxy pre-polymers and special fillers with high coverage; • Component B: copolymerization amines. gives rise to a coating with remarkable chemical/mechanical characteristics: hardness, flexibility, resistance to abrasion and good general chemical resistance. is specially designed to make the color and absorption of the surface uniform where it is applied.
use case
- NORPHEN 200 FONDO is used as a base coat under the following coatings:
- • NORPHEN 200.
- • NORPHEN 200 HCR.
- • NORDPUR EXTERIOR (in all variants).
- In particular NORPHEN 200 FONDO it is essential when applying a finish:
- • with low hiding power on a dark coloured or very differently coloured surface;
- • on a surface with uneven absorption.
