Thanks to its composition, has a plastic consistency, is easily moldable even at low temperatures and is easy and quick to apply by simple nailing (see "Application"). No special preparations of the laying surface (smoothing or modeling) or metal reinforcement of confinement are required. is practically insensitive to water present in the freshly cast concrete. This guarantees that the cord does not start expanding prematurely, deforming the concrete while it is still hardening. In the presence of water from outside the structure, expands autonomously (by absorption) up to 4 – 6 times compared to the initial volume, thus ensuring a perfect hydraulic seal of the casting shots both horizontally and vertically. is resistant to deformation of the structures in which it is applied even after a long time after laying. It easily endures continuous cycles of hydration - dehydration while preserving its expansiveness over time. maintains a high consistency and does not wash away even under conditions of free expansion in water.
