Description

NORDRY 200 P is a liquid solvent-based water-repellent protector based on modified oligomers that can chemically react with mineral materials and make them water-repellent. NORDRY 200 P: • does not alter the colour of the treated surfaces; • it does not reduce the breathability of the materials on which it is applied; • it gives rise to a medium-long lasting water-repellent effect resistant to atmospheric agents and UV rays; • Due to its strong resistance to alkalinity, it is particularly suitable for the early treatment of new products based on hydraulic binders (provided that they have reached the state of minimum maturation). For water-repellent treatment of fresh mortar or unseasoned concrete surfaces, use NORDCEM PRIMER (see Data Sheet). NORDRY 200 P can also be conveniently used for the treatment of damp walls that present problems of salt efflorescence (saltpetre).

Field of application

  • NORDRY 200 P is used as a fully concealed water repellent for:
  • •concrete;
  • • stone materials;
  • •bricks;
  • •Plasters;
  • •wood.
  • NORDRY 200 P is not suitable for the treatment of materials with high porosity (walls in expanded clay bricks or other types of bricks with high porosity etc ...).
  • In these cases it is recommended to use NORDY 200 I-ECO (see Data Sheet).
  • NORDRY 200 P is also used in the treatment of damp walls with saltpetre problems.
