Description

NORDGROUTH TIXO is premixed in powder form to be prepared with the addition of water only to obtain a ready-to-use mortar with remarkable application and final characteristics: • Fibre-reinforced. • No shrinkage. • Impermeable to water with a thickness equal to or greater than 5 cm. • Resistant to the penetration of chloride and sulphate ions. • High compressive strength. • Remarkable tensile strength. • Remarkable adhesion on rough surfaces. • Suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications. NORDGROUTH TIXO is formulated to be dimensionally stable (no abnormal swelling or expansion) even after prolonged immersion in water.

Field of application

  • NORDGROUTH TIXO is mainly used during renovation for:
  • ► C-FRCM systems for the reinforcement of structures with traditional steel reinforcements.
  • • Recovery and reinforcement of deteriorated concrete walls, fronts, beams and pillars on civil and commercial structures.
  • • Thin thickness (3 cm) coatings on masonry that require negative waterproofing with or without the use of epoxy resin primers (NORPHEN RICRETE, see Technical Data Sheet).
  • • As a concrete cover in the concrete renovation cycle without necessarily using resin primers.
