One-component adhesive for interiors and exteriors, antifreeze, suitable for laying ceramic tiles up to 900 cm². Suitable for adhesive thicknesses up to 5 mm.
Description
MONOTACK PLUS is a mono-component adhesive for tiles made with cement, selected-grain quartz sand, resins and special additives. MONOTACK PLUS is suitable for overlapping bonding of ceramics, stoneware, clinker, tiles etc... and is designed for adhesive thicknesses up to 5 mm. MONOTACK PLUS can be prepared by mixing with the sole addition of clean water when applied. In addition to being highly workable, the product features high adhesiveness and thixotropy, and excellent open time. After ripening, MONOTACK PLUS demonstrates excellent frost resistance.
Field of application
- ► MONOTACK PLUS can be used on the following substrates:
- • On walls and ceilings indoors, on traditional substrates covered with civil plaster, painted plaster (after checking the adhesion of the paint layer).
- • Rigidly supported plasterboard.
- • Premixed or traditional screeds and self-levelling screeds.
- • Gypsum, anhydrite and wood screeds, after treatment with RICRETE 1C.
- • External walls in cement plaster or mortar.
- • Indoor or outdoor floors and screeds made of sand and cement that have been sufficiently seasoned (e.g. 1 month for 6 cm thick screeds).
- • Radiant floors.
- • Floors that are already tiled.
- ► MONOTACK PLUS is suitable for the installation of:
- • Stoneware, porcelain stoneware and clinker tiles.
- •Cooked.
- • Insulating panels (such as polystyrene foam, polyurethane foam, rock wool, glass wool) and sound-absorbing panels such as Eraclit®, etc. (stitch bonding).
- ► MONOTACK PLUS is not suitable for gluing on:
- • Concrete subject to high shrinkage, e.g. thin-walled industrial floors.
- • Supports with excessive movement.
- • Linoleum and PVC without first checking the adhesion to the substrate. If the test is positive, wash the coating with STRIPPER and prime with RICRETE 1C.
- • Rubber flooring.
- • Galvanized sheets or aluminum.
