SYNTHETIC FIBER OR STEEL STAPLE CONNECTORS

FIX-FLEX

COD: FIX-FLEX

Synthetic fiber or steel connectors for connecting reinforcing meshes and fabrics to the masonry, to be chosen according to the type of project. The connector can be made of aramid, basalt, carbon, AR glass or galvanized steel fibers, gathered in a unidirectional bundle and wrapped in a special braid. Available in different diameters and in flexible rolls.

Description

FIX-FLEX are staple connectors in synthetic fiber or steel, particularly suitable in FRP and FRCM structural reinforcement systems: • ARAMID FIX-FLEX is the aramid fiber connector. • BASALT FIX-FLEX is the basalt fiber connector. • CARBO FIX-FLEX is the carbon fiber connector. • GLASS FIX-FLEX is the AR fiberglass connector. • STEEL FIX-FLEX is a galvanized steel staple connector, specific for S-FRCM structural reinforcement systems with steel fabrics. Depending on the type of project and the fabric or reinforcing mesh provided, the connector with aramid fiber, basalt, carbon, AR glass or galvanized steel can be chosen. All connector types consist of a bundle of unidirectional fibers, wrapped in a special braid, and are available in different diameters and in 10-meter-long flexible rolls, which can be cut on site in the necessary lengths.

Field of application

  • FIX-FLEX are used for the connection to masonry of synthetic fiber meshes and fabrics in FRP and FRCM systems, for the rehabilitation of buildings in need of reconstruction, consolidation and adaptation to operating stresses, following degradation due to causes such as overloads, subsidence, earthquake and other degradation of various kinds.
