is the base layer of the ESC special epoxy resin coating system used in the construction of flooring with particular electrical properties: • antistatic/dissipative: vertical and surface electrical resistance less than 1 GOhm (compliant with the requirements of IEC EN 61340-5-1 "Protection of electronic devices from electrostatic phenomena - General requirements"); • conductive: vertical and surface electrical resistance not exceeding 1 MOhm (complying with the requirements of "Class I" (EN 1504-2) "Flooring in environments where explosive substances are handled"). is a bi-component product consisting of: • component A: mixture of liquid epoxy prepolymers and conductive fillers; • component B: copolymerization amine. Overall, the ESC package consists of: → Dissipative lattice to be laid before resin: SELF ADHESIVE COPPER TAPE; → base layer: ESC BOTTOM; → finishing layer: ESC FINISH; → Cleaning detergent with antistatic-dissipative properties: ESC CLEANER; → Protective wax with antistatic-dissipative properties: ESC WAX.
use case
- ESC FONDO constitutes the base layer (uniformly conductive) of the ESC package (epoxy system for the construction of high performance floor and wall coverings in EPA areas, Electrostatic Protected Area).
- The ESC package of which ESC FONDO is part is used in the flooring of:
- • electronic industries (semiconductor assembly and production);
- •Surgery;
- • environments with a risk of explosion;
- • assembly plants and robotic warehouses;
- • Data Processing and Computing Centres (EDCs).
