Two-component elastomeric polymer-cement liquid sheathing composed of a liquid component and a powder component (packaged in airtight bags inside a convenient oval bucket). Mixing the two components together produces a soft mix that is easily applied by roller or brush. and without reinforcement. Designed for waterproofing foundation walls, floors to be tiled, balconies, bathroom or laundry rooms, wellness area before tiling, and so on.

Description
BETONGUAINA BASEMENT is a two-component cementitious waterproofing agent for underground structures. Component A is a polymer in water dispersion and special additives, component B is a mixture of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates and additives. BETONGUAINA BASEMENT, after drying, produces a tenacious and elastic film with high characteristics of impermeability and resistance to water by continuous contact (in immersion). BETONGUAINA BASEMENT is suitable for waterproofing concrete or masonry tanks suitable for the containment of drinking water, according to Ministerial Decree 174-2004.
Field of application
- BETONGUAINA BASEMENT is used for waterproofing artifacts and surfaces subjected to positive hydrostatic thrust.
- Below are the most frequent applications.
- • Underground structures and foundation walls in concrete and masonry.
- • Substrates and artifacts exposed to contact with water.
- • Temporary waterproofing.
- •Sidewalks.
- • Small balconies.
- • Tanks, canals and structures also intended for the containment of drinking water.
- • Showers and walls in damp environments.
- - It can be applied in wet environments in accordance with DIN 18534, in crack class R1-I and for water exposure classes W0-I to W3-I on both walls and floors. The minimum thickness of the dried film shall not be less than 2 mm.
- • Planters – with DERADIX additives – in structures where proper water drainage is guaranteed.
