The waterproofing of a terrace and a balcony is based on two walk-over systems, specially designed and developed to the highest degree of safety and liveability in these structures and in those below them.
By choosing a BETONGUAINA system, it will be possible to make breathable, waterproof layers, applicable in any weather conditions and any level of moisture content in the support; designed to be left exposed and for finishing with “direct bonding of the tiles”.
By choosing the Easy Last 901 system, a super-elastic layer will be created which can be applied without any primer on many substrates, and will provide an ideal solution due to its visually-appealing finishes, high solar reflectance and the AQUALAMINE multilayer, sintered- ceramic finish system.

DIRECT BONDING OF TILES is an integrated system, developed by Nord Resine and presented at the SAIE building fair in October 1993, which totally avoids any degradation of the screed under the tiles in the simplest way possible: by eliminating it.
It can be performed on a BETONGUAINA and also on simpler systems with NORTIG and NORTIG 15. The waterproofing layer must always contain NYCON reinforcement and the coating will be compulsorily implemented with BETON H1.
NORDSIL AC is a mono-component silicon sealant formulated with pure polymers (not modified with solvents or plasticisers). Available in a range of colours identical to COLORFILL FLEX 0-8 for high performance both mechanically and aesthetically.

NORTIG 15 is a waterproofing system and finish with a light colour. This cycle guarantees perfect waterproofing, respect for the environment and reflection of solar rays to counteract the URBAN HEAT ISLAND effect, as well as resistance to open flames. High solar reflectance and resistance to open flames make NORTIG 15 the ideal system to waterproof roofs where photovoltaic systems will be installed. Depending on the performance required, you can also choose the TSR (High Solar Reflectance) or TSR-AF (High Solar Reflectance and Resistance to Open Flames).

BETON COAT
is a single-component quartz elastomeric waterproofing finish, resistant to UV rays, heavy foot traffic and abrasion, specifically formulated to create finishes with a ‘micro-cement’ effect on BETONGUAINA
and BETONGUAINA.S waterproofing membranes and on concrete and plaster substrates.
With its characteristic elastomeric properties, BETON COAT follows the movements of the waterproofing membrane and of the vertical structures, preventing micro-cracks from forming. Available in eight colours from the colour chart and customisable on request in the two finishes MAT and LUX.

EASY LAST 901 is a liquid elastomer, mono- component, white self-levelling membrane, with SRI 93 solar reflectance (according to ASTM E 1980), for the waterproof and walk- over coating of flat roofs, terraces, balconies, and any other type of surface (bituminous membranes, PVC sheets etc.).
It can be finished with EASY LAST COAT or with NORTIG 15 to provide additional resistance or to change the colour.
This is the waterproofing part (and in this case it is strengthened with reinforcement) in coating systems with AQUALAMINE.
