W3 SUPER-BARRIER is used as:
• Base skim coat for vertical and horizontal surfaces, also intended for subsequent coating with resins, applied with a float or SHORT PILE ROLLER 25 cm MOD. 1418 (nylon);
• high hardness surface reconstruction layer for concrete floors, especially outdoors;
• smoothing layer to repair small holes or finishing imperfections, etc. on concrete floors even in the presence of moisture in the bottom;
• skimming of the substrate, reinforced with GLASS MESH (see Technical Data Sheet), before laying resin floors, in the presence of a risk of rising damp from the substrate;
• skim coat for walls and bottoms, with or without GLASS MESH, on swimming pool structures, before gluing the tiles, in the presence of moisture from the substrate;
• negative thrust waterproofing in combination with SW SOLID (see Technical Data Sheet).
The materials on which the application of W3 SUPER-BARRIER is suitable are:
• cast-in-place concrete;
• precast concrete;
• Tiled surfaces, after diamond grinding.
