Two-component elastic mortar for waterproofing and protecting concrete before laying tiles and mosaics in swimming pools. It is used in two coats by interposing a 160 g/m² GLASS NET reinforcement. Suitable for treating the interior surfaces of swimming pools before the subsequent installation of ceramic or vitreous coating with EPOSEAL W.

is a water-based bi-component elastic mortar consisting of: • component A: premixed cementitious product; • component B: aqueous dispersion of polymers and additives; is applicable both horizontally and vertically. After maturation, gives rise to a solid film totally impermeable to water, resistant to UV rays and with good elasticity. is resistant to the aggression of de-icing salts, sulphates and chlorides and protects the support from carbon dioxide attack (carbonation).
use case
- EP LASTIK is used in the interventions of:
- • waterproofing of bathrooms, showers, balconies, terraces, swimming pools, etc. before laying ceramic coatings (see also NORTIG 15 and NORTIG 15 FIBRE Technical Data Sheets);
- • waterproofing of concrete tanks for the containment of water (see also BETONGUAINA BASEMENT Technical Data Sheet);
- • elastic coating of concrete structures (e.g. prefabricated panels), in particular when they have an inadequate concrete cover thickness or are subject to high bending with the risk of micro-cracks;
- • protection of cracked plaster or concrete, against the penetration of water and aggressive agents;
- • protection of road and rail viaducts against carbon dioxide penetration;
- • Protection of concrete surfaces that may come into contact with seawater and de-icing salt solutions.
