Waterproofing product for manual application

Elastomeric mono-component liquid waterproofing membrane, formulated for treating floors and walls (gypsum, plasterboard, traditional plaster, recomposed wood panels, etc.).
NORTIG 15 can be used in bathrooms, shower rooms and damp environments in general, before tiling. Applicable with a roller, trowel or flat brush.

Description

NORTIG 15 is a ready mono-component liquid waterproofing membrane made up of polymers in aqueous dispersion, additives and fillers.
Once cured, NORTIG 15 forms a film with excellent elasticity, impermeability to water and crack-bridging capacity that withstands sunlight (infrared and ultraviolet rays), suitable for protecting surfaces exposed to weathering and water stagnation.
NORTIG 15 is also available in the WHITE version which, thanks to the high Solar Reflection Index (SRI =85),it allows to keep low the operating temperature of the surface on which it is applied, guaranteeing good performanceenergy to the entire stratigraphy adopted.
The use of NORTIG 15 BIANCO therefore allows:
→ reduction of heat absorption in public, commercial, industrial and private buildings;
→ to minimize the impact on the microclimate and on the human habitat (increase in living comfort);
→ to reduce energy consumption for cooling and, consequently, carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions

Field of use

• NORTIG 15 can be used in exteriors as a waterproofing membrane applied in the liquid state on balconies, terraces and flat roofs (with or without NYCON 100 or NYCON F reinforcement), in climates requiring high flexibility to cold weather, and as a membrane for covering roofs waterproofed with old membranes that need refurbishing.
• NORTIG 15 is recommended as a waterproofing membrane to be made on-site on horizontal and vertical surfaces in interiors before laying ceramic coverings. It is highly recommended in damp environments (bathrooms and showers, kitchens and laundry rooms).
The laying supports on which NORTIG 15 can be applied include:
→ in exteriors:
• sand and cement screeds;
• concrete finished without quartz sprinkling;
• sand and cement plasters;
• tiling;
• old membranes;
• line and valley gutters, cornices and chimneys.
→ in interiors:
• anhydrite screeds;
• cement plasters;
• lime base (prior treatment with PRIMER PLS);
• plasterboard;
• tiling.
