MONOTACK SR is a mono-component adhesive for tiles made with cement, selected-grain quartz sand and special additives.
MONOTACK SR is designed for indoor bonding of tiles up to medium format, with an adhesive layer up to 5 mm thick.
MONOTACK SR can be prepared by mixing with the sole addition of clean water when applied. In addition to being highly workable, the product features high adhesiveness and thixotropy, and good open time.
► MONOTACK SR can be used on the following laying supports:
• Interior walls coated with cement plaster or mortar.
• Sufficiently seasoned sand and cement screeds (for example, 45 days for 6 cm-thick screeds).
• Gypsum and anhydrite substrates or plasterboard walls, prior treatment with RICRETE 1C.
► MONOTACK SR is suitable for laying:
• Single-fired and double-fired ceramic tiles.
• Ceramic mosaics on meshes.
► MONOTACK SR is not suitable for bonding on:
• Concrete and cellular cement.
• Substrates subject to excessive movement (e.g. wood, etc.).
• Linoleum and PVC.
• Rubber floors.
• Galvanised or aluminium sheets.
• Radiant floors.
• Non-absorbent mosaics.
