MONOTACK FLEXORAPID is a fast-drying grey mono-component adhesive for ceramic tiles and dark natural stone surfaces, made with cement, silica sand with selected grain size, resins and special additives.
MONOTACK FLEXORAPID is an adhesive that sets and hardens very rapidly, making it suitable for laying coverings that must be used a few hours after they are applied.
MONOTACK FLEXORAPID can be prepared by mixing with the sole addition of clean water when applied. In addition to being highly workable, the product features high adhesiveness and thixotropy, and good open time.
MONOTACK FLEXORAPID is designed for bonding small-, medium- and large-size stone elements and tiles, even superimposed, on walls and floors, with an adhesive thickness up to 15 mm.
► MONOTACK FLEXORAPID can be used on the following laying supports:
• Interior walls and ceilings coated with cement plaster or painted plaster.
• Plasterboard (rigidly supported).
• Fibre cement walls and cement blocks.
• Exterior walls coated with cement plaster or mortar.
• Ready-made or conventional screeds and self-levelling cement screeds.
• Gypsum, anhydrite screeds, wood, prior treatment with RICRETE 1C.
• Concrete.
• Radiant floors.
• Tiled floors.
• Floors and walls waterproofed with BETONGUAINA and BETONGUAINA.S, NORTIG and other mono-component polymeric systems in dispersion.
► MONOTACK FLEXORAPID is suitable for laying:
• Marble, granite and natural stone (silica and carbonate) of dark colour.
• Manufactured stone, with the exception of recompositions with high resin content such as Venetian-style terraces and encapsulations.
• Single-fired and double-fired ceramic tiles.
• Stoneware, porcelain stoneware and clinker tiles.
• Cotto.
• Ceramic or vitreous mosaics on meshes.
• Insulating panels (such as expanded polystyrene, expanded polyurethane, rock wool, glass wool) and sound-absorbing panels type Eraclit®, etc. (point adhesion).
► MONOTACK FLEXORAPID is not suitable for bonding on:
• High-shrinkage concrete such as, for example, thin industrial floors.
• Marble and natural stone subject to staining with water and/or to efflorescence.
• Natural stone surfaces subject to considerable expansion when wetted.
• Substrates subject to excessive movement.
• Linoleum and PVC without having first verified the adhesion on the support. In case of a positive outcome, wash the coating with STRIPPER and prime it with RICRETE 1C.
• Rubber floors.
• Galvanised or aluminium sheets.
