MONOTACK H BOND is a mono-component adhesive for tiles made with cement, selected-grain quartz sand, resins and special additives.
MONOTACK H BOND is specially formulated for laying lithic, ceramic and vitreous coverings of any format, also superimposed, when it is necessary to have high deformability of the system for adhesive layers up to 15 mm thick.
Due to its deformability characteristics, MONOTACK H BOND can also be used for laying with direct bonding of the tiles on the compatible waterproof covering.
MONOTACK H BOND can be prepared by mixing with the sole addition of clean water when applied. In addition to being highly workable, the product features high adhesiveness and thixotropy, and excellent open time.
Once cured, MONOTACK H BOND boasts excellent frost resistance.
► MONOTACK H BOND can be used on the following laying supports:
• For indoors walls and ceilings, on conventional supports covered with two-coat plaster, painted plaster (after checking the adhesion of the paint), even partially loose or rough, without having to level the application surface beforehand.
• Plasterboard (rigidly supported).
• Fibre cement walls and cement blocks.
• Ready-made or conventional screeds and self-levelling screeds.
• Gypsum, wood and anhydrite screeds, prior treatment with RICRETE 1C.
• Concrete
• Radiant floors.
• Tiled floors.
• Floors and walls waterproofed with BETONGUAINA and BETONGUAINA.S, NORTIG (all types) and other mono-component polymeric systems in dispersion.
► MONOTACK H BOND is suitable for laying:
• Single-fired and double-fired ceramic tiles (of every type and size) both indoors and outdoors.
• Stoneware, porcelain stoneware and clinker tiles.
• Cotto.
• Stone materials (provided it is stable and insensitive to humidity) both indoors and outdoors.
• Objects with a highly concave profile.
• Ceramic and vitreous mosaics on meshes.
• Insulating panels made of EPS or XPS expanded polystyrene, expanded polyurethane, rock wool, glass wool (point adhesion).
• Sound-absorbing panels type Eraclit® etc. (point adhesion).
► MONOTACK H BOND is not suitable for bonding on:
• Marble and natural stone subject to staining with water and/or to efflorescence.
• Concrete with less than 3 months of seasoning or prefabricated concrete.
• Anhydrite, gypsum or wooden screed without pre-treatment with RICRETE 1C.
• Plasterboard without priming with RIVLATEX or BETON TACK.
• Linoleum and PVC without having first verified the adhesion on the support. In case of a positive outcome, wash the coating with STRIPPER and prime it with RICRETE 1C.
