Description
MONOTACK START is a mono-component adhesive for tiles made with cement, selected-grain quartz sand and special additives. MONOTACK START is designed for indoor bonding of tiles up to medium format, with adhesive thicknesses up to 5 mm. MONOTACK START can be prepared by mixing with the sole addition of clean water when applied. In addition to being highly workable, the product features high adhesiveness and thixotropy, and good open time.
Field of application
- ► MONOTACK START can be used on the following substrates:
- • Interior walls in cement plaster or mortar.
- • Sand and cement screed with sufficient seasoning (e.g. 45 days for 6 cm thick screeds).
- • Gypsum or plasterboard substrates, after treatment with RICRETE 1C.
- ► MONOTACK START is suitable for the installation of:
- • Single and double-fired ceramic tiles.
- • Ceramic mosaics on mesh.
- ► MONOTACK START is not suitable for gluing on:
- • Concrete and aerated concrete.
- • Linoleum and PVC.
- • Rubber flooring.
- • Galvanized sheets or aluminum.
- • Radiant floors.
- • Non-absorbent mosaics.
