W3 IMPERMEABILIZZANTE

Skim coat for new or old concrete surfaces, high mechanical strength, high tear strength, ideal for skimming surfaces with rising damp. It can be mixed with quartz sand and used as a coating for outdoor floors or as a base layer under elastomeric playground coverings to prevent blistering. In combination with quartz sand, it is even recommended for repairing the wear layer of industrial floors (including external ones).

Description
W3 IMPERMEABILIZZANTE is a three-component epoxy-cementitious coating consisting of: • Component A: aqueous dispersion of liquid epoxy prepolymers, additives and special fillers; • Component B: aqueous dispersion of copolymerization polyamines and additives; • Component C: cementitious dust. W3 IMPERMEABILIZZANTE has been specially developed to make very high adhesion shaves (especially towards damp and tiled supports) suitable to withstand even in conditions of humidity in negative thrust.
Field of application
- W3 IMPERMEABILIZZANTE is used as:
- • Skim coat for vertical and horizontal surfaces to be subsequently coated with resins;
- • high hardness surface reconstruction layer for concrete floors, especially outdoors;
- • smoothing layer to repair small holes or finishing imperfections, etc. on concrete floors even in the presence of moisture in the bottom;
- • skimming of the substrate, reinforced with glass mesh, before laying resin floors, in the presence of a risk of rising damp from the substrate;
- • as a skim coat for walls and substrates, with or without glass reinforcement, on swimming pool structures, before bonding the tiles, in the presence of moisture from the substrate.
- The materials on which the application of W3 IMPERMEABILIZZANTE is suitable are:
- • cast-in-place concrete;
- • precast concrete;
- • sand and cement plasters;
- W3 IMPERMEABILIZZANTE It can also be used on wet surfaces, when the moisture content is not so high as to prevent the polymer from maturing.
